SEATAG Offshore is a team of dynamic and well focused professionals who have a broad background in marine and offshore operations, specialising in emergency and high risk situations. All our instructors and assessors pride themselves on delivering comprehensive training in safety critical disciplines, technical training and the management of major emergencies.
Providing a wide range of courses in the technical, health and safety and emergency management scenarios, SEATAG Offshore has the capacity to facilitate simultaneous onshore and offshore simulations at the one location without any impact on client operations. A new state of the art computer based simulator, Emergency Management Simulator is available to all our clients with SEATAG having the capability to replicate individual clients offshore/onshore operating systems used to monitor platform/installation operations.
Our primary objective is to provide existing and prospective clients with innovative solutions to their training requirements and a total life cycle package that includes clients’ training and assessment needs. Ultimately, we ensure that all our training projects are delivered, on time, within budget and in excess of client expectations.
It is apparent that operators of offshore and onshore petrochemical facilities are realising the value of training personnel in disciplines they will need above and beyond their professional calling. International operators working in countries like Vietnam , Indonesia , Malaysia , Myanmar , East Timor and others are tied into using personnel that may not have the experience of working in potentially dangerous environments. Training these personnel to the highest possible standard before placing them into such an environment is high on their agenda and in many circumstances a contractual requirement towards the nationalisation of their facilities.
Prospective clients are realising that training supplied only works if the instructor can deliver each package correctly. They also realise the importance of having “company specific packages” delivered to reflect the company’s policies and procedures so that the participants can relate to and retain what they are being taught thereby achieving the aim of training.
The SEATAG Offshore has the ability to Project Manage the training requirements of our clients. In achieving this we move their personnel through a training regime of basics all the way through to the evaluation of their entire system. This includes upper management onshore and offshore with Major Emergency Management Training, Operational Readiness Evaluation and the assessment and review process of their emergency response management plans and procedures. SEATAG Offshore takes this further by including Team Building training for management personnel and coaching them in the advantages of Competency Based Training Assessments.
Since the commitment to South East Asia by the SEATAG Offshore management team, they have actively endeavoured to continually improve the standard of training and training courses throughout the Asia Pacific region.

While SEATAG Offshore is fully committed to the ongoing of skill enhancement of local instructors, the ability to utilise the services of both instructors and assessors with extensive backgrounds within their fields of expertise is indeed a benefit to the company and clients. Additionally, SEATAG Offshore has acquired the services of accredited instructors located in Australia and throughout the region on a full-time basis. All instructors and assessors have a background in oil and gas and associated industries with specific experience in emergency response, management and safety critical operations.
SEATAG Offshore is dedicated to fulfilling the needs of their clients. As a result, we tailor our courses specifically to their individual needs and are able to conduct our courses both at our training centre and in the clients’ workplace. This enables us to provide training all over South East Asia and beyond.
Our Emergency Management Simulator is equally adaptable. The scenarios are developed specifically for clients from their emergency response plans, risk assessments or the personal experiences of senior members of staff. This allows us to dramatically increase the reality of information provided to the course participants and assists with the assessment of relevant competencies.
This computer based simulator is fully portable and can be set up at the clients own offices either onshore or offshore or at other suitable locations. This portability allows clients to enjoy a realistic and advanced level of training and equipment that they would expect at one of SEATAG Offshore’s fixed facilities, without the cost and logistical difficulty of mobilising large numbers of personnel. Many clients have actually found that this type of in-country training allows them the flexibility to begin to develop their personnel at an earlier stage contributing to a sound succession plan.
SEATAG Offshore’s Emergency Management Simulator can be adapted to train and assess at different competency or skill levels, from basic introduction to emergency management principals through to installation management.
