To provide participants with the knowledge and skills to correctly operate a portable gas detection device and to sign the Permit to Work form and enter gas test results. Not permitted to enter a confined space to carry out a gas test

Understanding of the behaviour of gases Flammable gases and extinguishing medium Roles and responsibilities of the Stand-by person Correct operation and identify the components of the unit Identify the different modes of operation and alarms |
