The aims of this course are to teach participants how to undertake personnel transfer operations in a safe and controlled manner, to help them develop awareness concerning the safety issues related to personnel transfers and to make them identify unsafe work practices, associated hazards and understand the risks involved with personnel transfer operations.

Controlling personnel transfer operations using management systems
Identification of hazard and risk when undertaking personnel transfer operations
Correct techniques and procedures when using the “Jumping Rope” transfer system
Correct technique and procedures when using the “Transfer Net” system
Correct technique and procedures when using the FROG transfer system
COMPETENCY
Participants are required to attend and understand a theoretical element and be actively involved in the interactive question and answer session through out the course. Participants are required to attend a practical demonstration and practical exercise using the “Jumping Rope” and also using the “Transfer Net” system. Participants will be assessed on their ability to use the transfer equipment safely and effectively
