The aim of the ORE programme is to practically assess in a controlled simulator the progress of student's both individually and in a team environment this is carried out on completion of all safety training courses and prior to participant's employment in the field.

 

The ORE programme would encompass a multitude of safety and technical courses that have been taught recently the following is a list of the courses that would be assessed within this programme:

 

Advanced First Aid ,Fire Fighting ,Team Member

Helicopter Fire & Crash Rescue, Manual Handling Abrasive Wheels

Portable Gas Detection, Incident Investigation

Permit to Work ,Helicopter Landing Officer

Scaffold Erection, Crane Operation

Rigging and Slinging ,Confined Space Procedures

Portable Hand Held Radios, BOSIET, Major Emergency Management

 

Pre Requisites

All participants for this programme must have successfully completed all courses mentioned in the course content. Ideally the role of directing staff and assessors should be carried out by the training company that has been responsible for training all participants in the pre requisite courses and additionally for record keeping purposes an in field manager should make up the extra directing staff in order.
